POST RACE FAQS
All half marathon finishers will be able to collect their own Mini Bite Box after finishing their race. Recover from your race in 'wine country' style with your own mini charcuterie box prepared by LaBella Charcuterie and featuring locally sourced ingredients from True Story Foods, Sonoma Cheese Factory, and Blue Diamond.
Mini Bite Boxes can be picked up from the MINI BITE BOX PICK-UP tent in the Race Expo area behind Sonoma City Hall. Thanks again to our partners at LaBella Charcuterie, True Story Foods, Sonoma Cheese Factory, and Blue Diamond for making it possible for each half marathon finisher to enjoy.
Those that have pre-purchased an upgraded Bite Box will receive an email on Thursday of race week with additional information.
Saturday 5K – Visit the Race Expo area behind Sonoma City Hall and look for the MINI BITE BOX PICK-UP tent. 5K and Half Marathon participants will be able to enjoy a new recovery lounge in 2026 to decompress and recover from their races. Participants should first look for Cooling Towels courtesy of Northbay Health on course and just outside of the runner secure area at the finish line. The Recovery Lounge will be located on the west side of Sonoma City Hall.
Saturday 5K—Participants will be able to visit the Recovery Lounge after their race and enjoy post-race yoga and stretching courtesy of 2XU, a Relaxation Station featuring lounging cabanas courtesy of Picnic Potential; and a chance to rehydrate and rejuvenate with an IV drip from Napa Valley Mobile IV Therapy (all IV treatments are at cost to the participant).
Sunday Half Marathon—Participants will be able to visit the Recovery Lounge after their race and enjoy post-race yoga and stretching courtesy of 2XU, complimentary massage services courtesy of the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa, and the opportunity to rehydrate and rejuvenate with an IV drip from Napa Valley Mobile IV Therapy (all IV treatments are at cost to the participant).
The top 3 male and female finishers overall in BOTH 5K and Half Marathon will receive an award.
The top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (listed below) will also receive an award.Overall and Age Group Awards can be picked up beginning at 9:15am. Awards must be picked up on-site and will not be mailed. 5K winners can pick-up for the SOLUTIONS Awards will be available beginning at 9:15am.

Participants participating in both the 5K and Half Marathon can show their “Pairing” race bib at the RESULTS, PAIRING MEDALS & AWARDS tent in front of Sonoma City Hall after their half marathon to pick up their Pairing Medal. Medals must be picked up on-site and will not be mailed.
Finish Line VIP participants will receive an email on Thursday of race week with additional details. Please visit the VIP tent at packet pick-up to pick up your VIP wristband and gift bag.
The Finish Line VIP area is open to VIP participants beginning at 8:00am until 12:00pm. Following the race, a catered breakfast will be available. Participants that are 21+ will be able to enjoy wine tasting within the VIP area.
VIP picnic participants will receive an email on Thursday of race week with additional details. Please visit the VIP tent at packet pick-up to pick up your VIP Picnic wristbands.
The VIP picnic area is open to wristbanded participants beginning at 8:00am until 12:00pm. Participants will have access to a charcuterie board and bottle of wine at their assigned picnic.

Yes, you may switch from the half-marathon to the 5K or the Half Marathon/5K Pairing if there is still capacity. Please visit the Solutions Table at the Race Expo to make this request.
Friday’s Early Packet Pick Up is limited to those who are able to join us in person, no one is able to pick up your packet for you.
For Saturday, please send your proxy with a copy of driver's license (digital picture is OK) and your confirmation email to expedite the pick-up process. Confirmation emails are sent the day before the Race Expo. Proxies may only pick up packets for up to 3 people.
“Pairing” participants – those running the 5K and Half Marathon – will receive two bibs – one for the 5K and one for the half marathon. Please be sure to wear the correct bib when participating in each race.

ROSÉ 5K FAQS
Gear check is not offered during the Rosé 5K.
Please plan accordingly and leave any items in your vehicles. Participants shirts will be available after you complete your race so you will not need to store this while participating.
WATER STATION:
An aid station with water will be available to all runners at the turnaround of the 5K course. This is near the midpoint of the race.PLEASE NOTE: There are no restrooms along the 5K course. Be sure to use the Plaza restrooms before heading to the start line. 🚻
ROSÉ TASTING STATION:
A taste of Meadowcroft Rosé will be featured on the 5K course. Participants 21 years of age and older will be able to grab a taste of rosé while completing the 5K course. Those interested in the tasting on-course must have their ID with them during the race.The 5K has a course limit of 1.5 hours.
There are multiple parking options in Sonoma on race day, including parking lots and street parking. Parking lots are within 5-10 minutes of the 5K's start/finish line.

After completing the 5K race, all participants 21 years of age and older will be able to visit the Rosé Garden in Sonoma Plaza and partake in a single tasting of Meadowcroft rosé.
Those interested in visiting the Rosé Garden must have their ID with them.
Participants must visit the Tasting Glass Pick-Up tent and show their race bib to pick up their commemorative tasting glass prior to entering the Rosé Garden. The Glass Pick-Up tent is located behind City Hall in the Race Expo area.
Those that have purchased bite boxes for post-race can pick up their bite box, prepared by LaBella Charcuterie featuring locally sourced ingredients from True Story Foods.
Visit the Race Expo area and look for the Bite Box Tasting Tent to pick up your bite box. Those that purchased will have their name on a list to verify purchase. Please pick-up prior to 10:00am.

HALF FAQS

Gear Check will be available for all half marathon participants at the start line at Cuvaison Estate Wines near the top of the hill next to the large production building (see map above). Checked-in gear will be transported to the finish line at Sonoma Plaza for pick-up after the race. Look for the Mobile Locker Co. truck at the top of the hill at the Start Line and on E Spain St. after the race to pick up your gear (next to the Mini Bite Box Pick-Up tent).

Clear gear check bags will be available at the Start Line or by request at the T-Shirt Pick-Up tent during the Race Expo. All items must be placed in this clear bag.

Luggage or large bags will not be accepted.

All gear check bags will be checked into The Mobile Locker Co. truck during the race.

Join pacers from the Napa Valley Vinerunners running team as they look to lead you to the finish line in your goal time. Look for the Vinerunners pacers and their goal finish time signs in the start corral and join them on your way to a great finish!
Half-Marathon Goal Times:1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00, and 3:30
The half marathon has a course time limit of 3.5 hours. Participants will need to maintain a pace of 16 minutes, 30 seconds per mile in order to complete the race.
Due to the nature of the rural roads on course, if a participant falls behind the established pace time, they may be asked to join the sweep vehicle to be moved ahead on course.
The top 3 male and female finishers overall in the Half Marathon will receive an award.

PRE-RACE YOGA
From: 5:30am - 6:30am.
Your race starts here, but so does your warm-up. Join Yoga West at the start line for light stretching and gentle yoga to wake up your body and set your pace before mile one. Show up a little early, move a little better, and run a whole lot happier.
Come into Yoga West (located in downtown Napa) this race weekend and keep momentum going. Runners receive their first class for just $10 using the code RUNNING.

GETTING TO THE START
Please review the details below for parking options available for either race day, as well as shuttle options for Sunday. Don’t miss your start time and plan your morning in advance!
A return shuttle will take any spectators at the Start Line to Sonoma Plaza beginning at 7:30am from the Domaine Carneros drop-off location (approximately a .3-mile walk) at the bottom of the Cuvaison driveway.
The use of shuttles on Sunday is strongly encouraged to avoid traffic delays.

Parking for lots B and C have been prepaid and are first come, first served.
All participants utilizing shuttle drop off will then need to walk up the driveway leading to Cuvaison Estate Wines (approximately .3 miles).

Drop off location: Domaine Carneros (1240 Duhig Road, Napa, CA) All participants utilizing personal drop off MUST be dropped prior to 6:00am.
All cars must drop off in the designated drop-off areas of the parking lot and then depart back out on Duhig Rd toward CA-121/CA-12.
Participants who get dropped off will then need to walk up the driveway leading to Cuvaison Estate Wines (approximately .3 miles). Duhig Rd will be closed off, and no cars will be able to gain access after 6:00am.
IMPORTANT: Participants cannot be dropped off along CA 121/CA-12 or on Duhig Rd. By doing so, you may be ticketed by the California Highway Patrol who will patrol the area, and may delay the race.
Spectators are welcome to take pre-race shuttles to the start line along with participants. Runners receive priority on outbound shuttles. A return shuttle will take any spectators at the Start Line to Sonoma Plaza at 7:30am from the Domain Carneros drop-off location at the bottom of the Cuvaison Estates driveway (approximately .3 miles walk). Shuttles will not take spectators back to Napa from the start line.

SUNDAY POST-RACE

POST RACE WINE FESTIVAL
SUNDAY, JULY 26
9:30AM - 12:00PM
The post-race wine festival will feature wineries from the Napa and Sonoma Valleys offering tastings. Access to the wine festival is included with all Half Marathon and Pairing entries. Rosé 5K participants also had the option to purchase entry into Sunday’s Wine Festival at the time of registration.
Participants of the Half Marathon and Pairing will have their wine glass ticket denoted on their race bib. Rosé 5K participants who purchased a wine festival pass and Half Marathon and Pairing participants who purchased guest passes will have tickets attached to their BIB, to distribute to their guests.
Wine festival passes are currently SOLD OUT and unavailable to purchase online. The availability of additional overflow passes will be determined on-site on Sunday, July 26, at the Solutions Tent in the Race Expo. If available, additional passes will be on sale for $60.
Half Marathon, Pairing, and Rosé 5K participants that have pre-purchased wine glasses will have their purchase denoted on their race bib. Those that have purchased guest passes will have tickets attached to their race bib, the tickets should be given to the guests, so they can PICK UP their own wine glasses.
Wine glass distribution will begin at 8:30am on Sunday in Sonoma Plaza.SAVE TIME by visiting the ID Check station on Saturday to receive your wristband. Then on Sunday, join us at the EXPRESS PICK-UP lanes, lines at the Wine Glass Pick-Up tent for expedited wine glass pick up.
Official bibs or guest pass tickets are required to pick up a wine glass.
Those that are 21 years of age and older and partaking in the wine festival must present their ID at the wine glass distribution tent to obtain a wristband prior to wine tasting.
SAVE TIME by visiting ID Check on Friday or Saturday and show your ID to receive your wristband.On Sunday, join us at the EXPRESS PICK-UP lanes, lines at the Wine Glass Pick-Up tent for expedited wine glass pick up.
The wine festival is held in Sonoma Plaza, which is open to the public. Those that do not have a wine festival pass or do not intend to partake in tasting are allowed in the festival area as it is open to the public.
Per City of Sonoma ordinance, dogs are not allowed in Sonoma Plaza or at the wine festival. Only service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability will be allowed in Sonoma Plaza.
